Chef Everardo and his whole team were so wonderful to work with. We had Food First cater a fundraising event for us on our rooftop space of 150-200+ people this year after issues with other catering companies in years past. I can’t say enough good things about them! They were so helpful, friendly, accommodating, responsive, etc. etc. etc.!! It’s obvious Chef Everardo truly has passion for what he does and it shows in his work, he went well above and beyond for us. He was willing to come a week before hand to go over event set up and made sure we had everything we needed for a successful event. He curated a thoughtful menu for us that perfectly met our needs. During our event walk he even had the idea to utilize the grills on site that brought a fun vibe to the event and made for fresh food that guests could smell and see as they walked in. His team brought in beautiful flowers and tablescapes that was completely unexpected but a beautiful touch! They don’t have their liquor license but don’t let that stop you – they were still able to supply us with bartenders and simply told me quantities and types of alcohol to buy, I placed a Binny’s pickup order and they took care of the rest! Even curating a special signature cocktail for our event (watermelon, strawberry, or classic lime mojitos. YUM!) A seamless process with the added bonus of cost savings for us (a huge plus when we’re hosting a fundraising event)! We ran out of beer early in the event and his team even made a special trip out in the middle of it to ensure we were all set for the rest of the night! Truly such a wonderful team to work with. Of course their food is always wonderful too. Our office uses them for work lunches pretty frequently and everything I’ve ever tried has been absolutely delicious. Definitely a crowd favorite amongst our office – everyone is excited for Monday lunch if they know Food First is catering! Food First will always be my first recommendation to anyone looking for a caterer!

My co-worker shared her brownie with me and it was so good I wanted some more. She said she had never been disappointed with your food. Wish I was able to buy the brownie and food individually.

When it comes to catering, there are loads of businesses that talk a good game, but Food First can help you make it happen. Their website has made it easier and more efficient to place orders and Alex Valencia, Office Manager, is always available for questions or menu suggestions. Delivery personnel are always professional and on time. New catering menus are sent out monthly.

When I need to cater an event Food First is the first place to come to mind. My co-workers absolutely love it! I’ve had to make a last minute request and they are always willing to assist us. I’ve built a great relationship with Alex and chef and they are truly amazing. If you want some good eating, Food First!

I Really don’t know where to start but everything about Food First is great from the Chef, Alex, and Staff, that gives us all the upmost attention in return, I get from our Staff here at my company alone with Guest-Visitors just how good the food is always. Alex is always with a helping hand and such a great spirit in making your food order work for everyone. I once was told by an Aunt of mine that what makes the food taste so good is the love you put into it and CHEF you have conquered that in making food taste better than good but great.

I book quite a few lunch meetings here at our office. Food First makes everything so easy and fast. First and foremost, the food is absolutely delicious. But what I love most about their service is that it is so easy to order and takes so little time. They are professional and friendly. I cannot say enough great things about FF. And Alex is a delight to work with. 🙂

I have been using Food First for our company’s catering events for almost 2 years now and I can honestly say there is no better company out there! They are ALWAYS so great to work with and very accommodating! From placing the order to the food setup, they always do such an amazing job and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS! Time and time again they always prove to show just how great they are!

I saw the yelp reviews and so I called food first Chicago and asked them to cater a graduation party. I would give them a 10 star if that was possible. From the first phone call interaction they were very responsive, helpful, and patient. They advised me on the menu, worked through changes I requested, etc. they arrived right on time, set up everything beautifully, and the food was awesome!

Chef Everardo is amazing. We had an amazing line up for our wedding dinner. Salad with strawberries, mandarins, feta, and almonds. We also had a mango and chipotle marinated grilled chicken, roast pork, buttered corn, a rice pilaf, and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious! He also can get linens for an amazing price. I was able to bring all of my alcohol and beverages to him to store in the cooler the day before my wedding at Michelle’s Ballroom. All of the servers were great! Well done Chef!

We had Food First Chicago cater a breakfast for our team of 65+ people. They were accommodating, kind, and had the most delicious food! Easy set up and a very smooth proposal process as well. We will definitely choose Food First again and recommend it highly.
